On the morning of March 6, Sichuan Aonu New Materials Co., Ltd.’s polyimide electronic special film production line project signed a contract with Hefei Xinzhan High-tech Zone.

According to reports, the total investment in the project is 1 billion yuan. The first phase of the project will invest 500 million yuan to settle in a high-end optical film production base and build a transparent polyimide film production line. After completion, the annual output will be 600,000 square meters. The second phase of the project will invest 500 million yuan to build a slurry production line and expand the film forming line. After completion, the annual output will reach 3 million square meters. After the project is put into production, it will be of great significance to break the technology monopoly in the field of foreign flexible high-end optical film production.

As a key material with high temperature resistance and high weather resistance in the 21st century, CPI is widely used in car taillights, new display covers, photovoltaic cell substrates, protective films and other fields. This material is mainly used in folding screen covers and folding screen glass cover films. It also has application potential in high-end fields such as surface light sources and aerospace.

Information shows that Onui New Materials focuses on the manufacturing and research and development of new membrane materials. The company's main products include transparent polyimide slurries, resins, films, etc.
