The total investment is nearly 26.5 billion, and the Lingwei Vision/Shiyuan Co., Ltd./Xingke Optoelectronics project has started

From February 7th to 8th, Guangzhou and Zhejiang held commencement activities for major projects in the first quarter of 2025 respectively.

Nansha District and Huangpu District of Guangzhou have respectively launched the Greater Bay Area Headquarters Production and R&D Base Project for Lingwei Automotive Intelligent Vision Products and CVTE Global Headquarters Base and Smart Medical Projects. Zhejiang has started construction on 150 major projects, including the second phase of Xingke's advanced optoelectronic display industry project.

Lingwei Vision Greater Bay Area Headquarters Production and R&D Base Project

According to reports, the Lingwei project has a total investment of 2.48 billion yuan and covers an area of approximately 72 acres. It plans to build an intelligent vision product R&D center and a digital production base. After the project is completed, it will have an annual production capacity of more than 700,000 sets of smart headlight systems, 700,000 sets of smart taillight systems and 200,000 units of vehicle HUD equipment, becoming the headquarters of Jinko Electronics' smart car vision products and systems business segment.

Lingwei Vision originated from Guangdong Jinko Electronics Co., Ltd., which is a high-tech enterprise specializing in automotive intelligent vision products and systems. It mainly engages in intelligent LED car lights and vehicle head-up display equipment. Jinko Electronics has R&D centers and production bases in Guangzhou, Guangdong, Ningbo, Zhejiang, and Changsha, Hunan.

Jinko Electronics was established in August 2006 and is headquartered in Nansha, Guangzhou. Its total share capital is approximately RMB 500 million. As a high-tech enterprise incubated by the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Jinko Electronics is China's leading supplier of "LED+" technology intelligent vision products and system solutions. Its business covers automotive intelligent vision, high-end lighting and new displays.

From the perspective of business structure, Jinko Electronics’ main sources of income include automotive intelligent vision products, high-end lighting products and new display products.

In terms of performance, Jinko Electronics issued an announcement on February 6, predicting that the net profit attributable to the parent company for the year ending December 31, 2024 will be no less than 93 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of no less than 40%; the adjusted net profit attributable to the parent company is expected to be no less than 130 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of no less than 70%.

Projects such as CVTE Global Headquarters Base

The total investment in CVTE Global Headquarters Base and smart medical projects is 5 billion yuan, and the output value is expected to reach 10 billion yuan.

CVTE’s global headquarters project will carry out technology pre-research and product development in the fields of commercial display and audio and video equipment, computing equipment, power electronics, robotics and artificial intelligence, while the smart medical project will focus on research in the field of life sciences, study full-cycle medical and health management models, and promote high-quality development of medical services and medical device industries.

CVTE is an intelligent electronic product and solution provider focusing on display, interactive control and connection technologies. In recent years, the company has accelerated technological research and product development in emerging display technology fields such as Mini LED backlight.

In January this year, CVTE released a performance report. The company's total revenue in 2024 was 22.457 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 11.32%; the net profit attributable to the parent company was 972 million yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 29.07%.

During the reporting period, CVTE actively explored domestic and foreign markets and achieved revenue growth. In terms of business layout, revenue from related businesses such as LCD main control boards increased by 13.64% year-on-year; revenue from household electrical appliances business maintained rapid growth, with a year-on-year growth of 70.23%; automotive electronics business developed steadily; emerging businesses such as LED, computing equipment and power electronics achieved steady development.

Xingke Advanced Optoelectronic Display Industry Phase II Project

Xingke Phase II project has a total investment of 19 billion yuan. On December 28 last year, the first production line of Zhejiang Xingke Phase I high-performance carrier board was successfully ignited, just over a month apart.

It is reported that after the second phase of the project is completed and fully reached production, it will have an annual output of 1.5 million sets of MLED chips, 55,000 square meters of new MLED display modules, 10 million pieces of flexible display devices and 22 million square meters of ultra-wide carrier glass.

The total land area of Xingke Optoelectronics project is about 700 acres, and it is planned to build multiple sub-projects such as high-performance carrier glass, intelligent manufacturing base and research institute, high-end flexible display devices, MLED display chips and modules in two phases. Among them, the high-performance carrier glass project has two production lines, with a planned annual production capacity of 2.14 million pieces, creating the largest high-performance carrier glass production base in China.

Data show that Zhejiang Xingke Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd. was established in March 2024 with a registered capital of 5.7 billion yuan. Beijing Fuxin Jiaye Technology Co., Ltd. holds 60% of the shares, and the state-owned wholly-owned enterprise Linkong Xingcheng Optoelectronics Management Co., Ltd. holds 38.8% of the shares; the company’s business scope covers: display device manufacturing, new material technology promotion services, special equipment manufacturing, semiconductor device special equipment manufacturing, glass manufacturing, new energy prime mover equipment manufacturing, etc.
