TCL and Hisense join hands in sports events to promote the application of Mini LED products

The combination of LED technology and sports events has become a development trend. Recently, TCL and Hisense have successively announced cooperation with important sports events to further promote the application and popularization of Mini LED TVs.

TCL becomes an Olympic global partner

On February 20, the TCL&Olympic global partner signing ceremony was held at the Water Cube in Beijing. This signing marks TCL’s formal becoming a global partner of the Olympics. In future cooperation, TCL will provide technical, product and service support for the Olympic movement in the fields of smart terminals and panel displays, including televisions, air conditioners, refrigerators, washing machines, etc.

Relying on the results of the "TCL + Thunderbird" dual-brand strategy and the "mid-to-high-end + large-screen" direction, TCL TV shipments in the global market continue to grow, with global shipments reaching 29 million units in 2024, a year-on-year increase of 14.8%. Among them, shipments grew significantly in the fourth quarter, with significant improvements both quarter-on-quarter and year-on-year.

In the Chinese market, TCL Electronics' "dual brand strategy" continues to advance. In 2024, TCL TV shipments will increase by 5.8% year-on-year, and the average size will increase to 63.3 inches. Mini LED TV shipments will achieve a substantial growth of 264.7%.

At the 2025 CES show, TCL launched the X11K QD-Mini LED TV, equipped with 14,000-level light control zones, 6,500 nits peak brightness and global halo control technology, bringing a new technological breakthrough to the high-end TV market.

Hisense will work with FIFA to jointly create the Club World Cup

On February 19, Hisense held a preview experience meeting for the flagship new products of the Club World Cup in Beijing. At the meeting, the relevant person in charge of Hisense stated that Hisense will work together with FIFA to create a Club World Cup full of high-tech elements. At the same time, Hisense will use this platform to continue to increase investment in product research and development and technology.

It is reported that on October 30 last year, Hisense officially announced that it had become the first global official partner of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup and released a 110-inch official customized AI TV UX for the Club World Cup. The product breaks through 40,000+ partitions, has the industry’s highest 10,000nits peak brightness and the industry’s highest 90% BT.2020 color gamut, and supports refresh rates up to 165Hz.
