Recently, an LED mesh "flying screen" with a display area of 72.66 square meters rose in the night sky of Shenzhen. The screen showed dynamic scenes such as aircraft taking off, rocket launches, and astronauts levitating. The screen was developed by Shenzhen Yuguang New Materials Co., Ltd. and has been certified by Guinness World Records, making it the world's largest such LED display device.
It is reported that the screen contains 150,000 to 300,000 pixels, with higher definition than traditional building light shows and drone light shows. Its transparency reaches 95%, which can enhance the expression of the picture and blend with the environment. The screen is lightweight, about 250 grams per square meter, and can remain stable and suspended in low wind speed environments. In addition, its design uses wind to naturally dissipate heat, eliminating the need for additional cooling equipment, helping to reduce energy consumption and noise.
Yuguang New Materials said that compared with traditional ground displays, this "flying screen" combines high-definition transparent display technology and flying equipment to provide a more flexible aerial display solution, suitable for advertising, brand promotion, event displays, cultural performances and other scenarios.
According to data, Yuguang New Materials has been deployed in the field of "drone + high-definition display" for many years, and will obtain relevant technology patents in 2024. The company said that in recent years, it has expanded product visibility by participating in domestic and foreign industry exhibitions, and has received orders from Hong Kong, Macao, Singapore, Dubai and other places, and plans to further expand the market.
