Nitron’s revenue in 2025 is US$42.5 million

Recently, Micro LED manufacturer Nitron Technology announced its financial results for 2025. For the full year of 2025, Nichuang achieved revenue of US$42.5 million, a decrease from US$55.5 million in 2024. In terms of profit performance, Nichuang turned from profit to loss, recording a net loss of US$3.7 million in 2025.

In order to support business expansion and technology research and development, Nitron raised US$24.3 million in convertible bond funds through private placement in 2025. In addition, the company also issued NT$800 million in bonds at the end of 2024, which has reserved sufficient cash flow for subsequent development.

In terms of production capacity layout, Nichuang is committed to building a complete supply chain covering epitaxial wafer production, chip processing and mass transfer. Previously, AU Optronics has invested US$21.5 million in cooperation with Nitron to establish a 6-inch Micro LED production line at AU Optronics' Longtan factory. Currently, Nitron is developing towards a production capacity target of 10,000 6-inch wafers per month.

In addition, in July last year, Nitron invested 5 billion yuan to establish a subsidiary in Kunshan, focusing on the production, manufacturing and sales of Micro LED panel components and modules, improving supply chain efficiency and localized service capabilities in the mainland Chinese market. In February this year, the project officially started construction and is expected to be completed and put into operation in the second to third quarter of this year.

In the field of product development, Nitron has demonstrated a diversified layout strategy, with product lines covering large-area spliced displays, wearable panels, micro-displays and transparent displays. Especially in the automotive market, the company has begun providing samples to more than 5 potential automotive customers as early as 2022.

From the end of 2025 to the beginning of 2026, Nichuang has also made new progress in mergers and acquisitions and cross-border cooperation. In December 2025, the company announced the acquisition of Lumiode for US$2 million to strengthen its strength in specific display technology fields and expand its operational layout in the US market.

After entering 2026, Nitron further announced the establishment of a partnership with Brillink to jointly develop optical interconnect solutions based on Micro LED, which marks that its technology applications are extending from the traditional display field to the high-performance computing communications market.
