Recently, display and automotive lighting companies such as Yuanxu Semiconductor, Weishi Electronics, and Magneti Marelli have made progress in their projects. Among them, Yuanxu Semiconductor's Tianjin Micro LED super factory was officially put into trial production, and Weishi Electronics' high-end backlight display module and smart decorative display panel projects were put into production. At the same time, the Magneti Marelli Automotive Lighting Industrial Park project started in Changchun.

Yuanxu Semiconductor Tianjin Micro LED Gigafactory opened for trial production

On March 28, Yuanxu Semiconductor Technology Co., Ltd. held a grand opening ceremony for the Tianjin Super Factory in Tianjin Binhai High-tech Zone.

According to reports, Yuanxu Semiconductor Tianjin Gigafactory focuses on breakthroughs in the entire chain of new-generation Micro LED display technology. Currently, the construction of the first phase of Micro-LED integrated packaging module production line has fully entered the equipment implementation stage, and core production equipment technology selection and matrix layout have been completed. Approximately 40 million yuan has been invested in equipment purchase orders.

In terms of semiconductor-level precision equipment configuration, the factory has invested more than 50 types of equipment and a total of more than 100 units. It has successfully completed factory commissioning and put into trial operation. It is expected that by the end of October this year, the factory will have invested approximately 120 million yuan in cutting-edge core equipment, and the scale will exceed more than 400 units, establishing a full-process intelligent manufacturing system for Micro LED integrated packaging.

In addition, the production line covers the four core links of chip manufacturing, mass transfer, advanced packaging, and optoelectronic integration, forming a vertically integrated industry chain layout from Micro-LED display chips, advanced integrated packaging to new generation smart display products. Yuanxu Semiconductor's new generation of smart display products have higher resolution, contrast, viewing angle, and better product energy-saving characteristics.

It is a high-tech enterprise engaged in the research and development, production and sales of semiconductor optoelectronic materials and chip products. According to the "Kunshan Development Zone Release" news, on the morning of March 28, Weishi Electronics' high-end backlight display module and intelligent decorative display panel construction project was officially put into production. After full production, the annual output value will exceed 3 billion yuan.

Weishi Electronics is mainly engaged in the research and development, production and sales of backlight display modules, LCD modules, smart display components and other products. The company's products are mainly used in mid-to-high-end automobiles, VR, digital cameras, small game consoles, tablet computers and other fields.

In 2024, Weishi Electronics complied with the development trend of large-screen, multi-screen, and special-shaped screens in vehicle display products, and achieved mass production of ultra-large and curved screen vehicle backlight display modules, and the sales scale of medium and large-sized display products continued to increase; at the same time, the company actively deployed Mini LED technology, and the company's designated projects for new Mini LED backlight products have gradually entered the mass production stage.

In terms of performance, in 2024, Weishi Electronics achieved operating income of 2,027.3476 million yuan, an increase of 29.31% over the same period last year, and net profit attributable to the parent company of 55.9841 million yuan, a decrease of 52.56% over the same period last year.

With a total investment of approximately 1 billion yuan, the Magneti Marelli Automotive Lighting Industrial Park project started

According to Changchun New District News Center, on March 28, the 2025 Changchun City first quarter project kickoff and the Beihu Future Science City project kickoff event were held in Changchun New District. Construction of the Magneti Marelli Automotive Lighting Industrial Park project in the Economic Development Zone started simultaneously.

The total investment is about 1 billion yuan, covering an area of 36,700 square meters and a construction area of 24,000 square meters. It is expected to be completed in December this year. It will mainly produce automotive lights for BMW, Hongqi, Rolls-Royce and other models.
