Lianjia said on the 13th that its new Mexican factory broke ground on the 11th local time. The factory is located in the new industrial zone of Queretaro State, Mexico. It is expected to be completed in September this year and will be officially mass-produced and shipped in 2026. It can further strengthen the company's supply and service capabilities in the Mexican, Central and South American and European markets, and is a major progress in the strategic layout of the global supply chain.
The company stated that the products of Lianjia's new plant in Mexico are mainly supplied to local customers in Mexico. In addition, North America is Lianjia's largest supply market. In addition to the fact that the new plant in Mexico is not sold to the U.S. market, the existing Michigan plant still retains some automated production lines although it has been transformed into a logistics and testing center. It will develop towards receiving project orders in the future. Once customers have needs in the future, it can be flexibly configured at any time.
Lianjia also pointed out that although the new factory will not be put into mass production until next year, it has already obtained a number of long-term orders for LED car lighting modules for 6 to 7 years, and continues to increase cooperation projects with customers; and the new factory is close to many international car lighting factories, and has significant logistics advantages, which can reduce inventory, transportation and packaging costs, and improve supply chain efficiency.
