Highlighted advantages: gold wire-free ceramic-based LED Flash light source

Mobile phone cameras were required to be able to shoot under low illumination conditions, which gave rise to the first generation of xenon flash. However, due to its complex structure, large size, and the need for a certain amount of time to store electricity, the xenon flash was unable to take continuous shots or be constantly on. Subsequently, R&D personnel used high-speed stroboscopic, energy-saving white light LEDs as the light source for mobile phone flashes.

LED flash has a history of nearly ten years and is currently divided into three camps, namely the vertical structure represented by Osram, the flip-chip structure represented by Philips Lumileds and Jinko, and the formal structure represented by Everlight and Lite-On. Subsequently, Taiwanese manufacturers Epistar, New Century, etc. also rushed into the high-profit LED flash supply chain. Some major domestic packaging manufacturers are also targeting this fertile emerging market and have successively launched a series of LED flash products in the past two years. They have continuously improved the performance of LED flashes in terms of the brightness of the flash and the full spectrum of high color rendering of the light source.
Jinko Electronics, as the only company in China that can mass-produce "gold-wire-free packaging" products and has been in mass production for three years, took the lead in entering the LED flash market by taking advantage of its own flip-chip soldering technology and "package-free" R&D experience. Compared with the formal and vertical structure LED flash products currently on the market, the flip-chip gold-wire-free ceramic substrate packaged Flash LED light source has many advantages:
1. The chip thrust can reach more than 2000g, which has higher reliability;
2. The electrical connection surface is a metal interface, with high thermal conductivity, low thermal resistance, and can withstand large current shocks;
3. No gold wire obstruction, high light color consistency, and more uniform light emission;
4. Gold wire-free packaging technology enables small size and ultra-thin packaging;
5. High brightness, the instantaneous output brightness can reach 300lm.

Compared with traditional packaging structures, LED flash products packaged with gold-wire-free packaging technology can better leverage the advantages of LEDs. However, the road to promote domestic LED flash products is not easy, because the market in this segment is mainly occupied by the four major manufacturers such as Osram, Philips, Everlight, and Samsung. It is currently difficult for domestic LED companies to enter the supply chain of mobile phone manufacturers. Moreover, domestic enterprises have a short development time in this area, and LED flash technology is still being explored and improved. This market presents both challenges and opportunities for domestic enterprises.

These put forward many requirements for developers.
