Fucai will join hands with Nitron to expand MicroLED production

Fucai, a leading LED factory, will open new Micro LED production capacity and join hands with Nitron to expand Micro LED production. The legal person is optimistic that Fucai will have the opportunity to achieve the full-year profit target this year. Fucai has been actively exploring the field of Micro LED in recent years, and has deployed in the TV and automotive industries through the one-stop solution and technology transfer provided by Nitron.

Since last year, Fucai has made major adjustments to its operational structure and resource allocation. The legal person pointed out that the front-end epitaxial process of Micro LED has been significantly improved, and chip carrier and wafer-level packaging technology have also been introduced into mass production projects by customers for trial production. It is expected that new production capacity in Miaoli will be activated by the end of the first quarter of this year.

Fucai strengthens the layout of silicon photonics and launches more efficient micro-light-emitting diodes using the binary semiconductor material indium phosphide. This is a new generation of display technology and the focus of the next stage of silicon photonics.

Fucai emphasized that in the future, in addition to cooperating with Huanyu to promote the field of optical communications in silicon photonics applications, parent company AUO has also shown results in its transformation in recent years. By joining the Silicon Photonics Technology Alliance led by TSMC, it will leverage the group's resources to expand its operational scale.
