Fucai bets on MicroLED and other fields to accelerate transformation and layout

Fucai Investment Controls actively integrates group resources, accelerates transformation and layout, locks in high value-added applications, and uses the "dual value-added engine" strategy of "solution added value" and "field value added" to focus on the "3+" core areas of automotive, advanced display, intelligent sensing and AI optical communications, striving to reshape its operating structure.

Legal persons are optimistic that with the emergence of cost optimization benefits and the emergence of emerging applications, Fucai's operations are gradually bottoming out.

Fucai expects that in addition to the effectiveness of reducing expenditures and increasing revenue this year, AI-related applications will be a key engine. In the field of optical communications, in addition to launching the design and introduction of new CPO products and improving VCSEL transmission capabilities to 50G to 100G, it has also signed development agreements with cloud service providers and major GPU manufacturers on Micro LED optical connection modules.

Fucai has invested in Huanyu and Dingyuan to develop long-distance transceiver technology and InP solutions to seize business opportunities after 2026, and has developed three different light sources: Micro LED, VCSEL, and CW-DFB LD to meet the needs of AI servers.

Micro LED, another growth pillar of Fucai, has also made significant progress. The mass transfer yield rate has reached the standard, the chip size has been reduced by 40%, and it has won cooperation with many international car manufacturers and first-tier manufacturers, entering the fast lane of mass production. Fucai will showcase its 30-inch transparent window display, ADB smart headlights and GemiLEDTM new technology platform at the Touch Taiwan exhibition on April 16.

Intelligent sensing is also the focus of Fucai's layout. In addition to deepening the health monitoring application of wearable devices, it also relies on full-band optical sensing technology to enter the AI robot supply chain. It is optimistic about the trend of its vision system integrating CMOS and laser ranging, targeting huge markets such as industry, logistics, and service robots.

As for the high-efficiency III-V solar cells in the "3+1" strategy, the supply chain pointed out that they involve drones, defense applications and other fields, and Fucai said that relevant plans are proceeding as planned.

Legal persons are optimistic that Fucai will make progress in high-potential markets such as AI, Micro LED, and sensing through the "dual value-added engine". With cost optimization, the transformation results will gradually appear, and the market outlook is promising.
