Focusing on LED chips/organic LEDs/quantum dot LEDs and other fields, the College of Optoelectronics Industry of Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University was unveiled

Recently, the College of Optoelectronics Industry of Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University, jointly built by Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University and Anxi County, was officially unveiled.

The Industrial College will focus on the development needs of the optoelectronic industry and carry out technology incubation and talent cultivation in areas such as LED chips, organic LEDs, quantum dot LEDs, plant lighting systems, new solar cells, photodetector chips, integrated circuits, optical communication optoelectronic chip industry and optoelectronic agricultural industry, striving to enhance the technological innovation capabilities of the optoelectronic industry and promote the development of the regional optoelectronic industry.

It is reported that the newly established College of Optoelectronics Industry of Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University mainly adopts the "government + university + enterprise" trinity, complementary advantages, and collaborative school-running model. It mainly provides professional courses such as semiconductor devices, physical semiconductor optoelectronics integration, and semiconductor circuit integration. The college has started enrollment in September 2023 and currently has a total of 295 students.

Relying on the School of Optoelectronic Industry, in the future, the school, local enterprises and the three parties will jointly carry out the "Unveiling and Leading" project of key core technologies to promote more scientific and technological achievements from the laboratory to the production line and transform them into real productivity, help the optoelectronic industry break through technological bottlenecks, and provide strong technical support for continuing to maintain the competitive advantage of Anxi's optoelectronic technology industry.
