Zhongqi Optoelectronics, Colorlight and other LED-related companies announced price increases

Recently, many companies in the LED industry chain have announced product price adjustments, involving LED displays, LED display control systems, LED driver ICs, etc.

1. LED display

Zhongqi Optoelectronics

On May 11, Zhongqi Optoelectronics issued a product price adjustment notice, stating that due to the continued rise in raw material prices this year, especially the price increase of PCB by more than 20% and IC price by more than 50%, the cost has increased significantly. Therefore, after research, the company decided to make appropriate adjustments to product prices starting from May 11, 2026.

Zhongqi Optoelectronics is a manufacturer of LED display screens. On the technical path, Zhongqi Optoelectronics adopts a strategy of simultaneously developing COB, MIP, and COG routes. Its COB manufacturing has achieved full-pitch mass production of full flip-chip Mini COB in the P0.4-P2.5 pixel pitch range; in the MIP field, the company has launched Micro MIP display modules using 0303/0202 lamp beads, which can produce P0.6-P1.2 products.

Diwei Technology

On April 30, Shanghai Diwei Technology announced that starting from May 1, 2026, it will increase the price of core LED products, with an increase range of 5%-10%.

Shanghai Diview Technology focuses on the sales of indoor and outdoor commercial display equipment. The main product lines of its brand "Diview" include: indoor and outdoor LED, small spacing LED, COB, OLED, advertising machine, touch all-in-one machine, conference flat panel, monitor, information release system, LCD splicing screen, queuing system, etc.

Xin Caichen

On May 5, Xin Caichen issued a notice stating that core raw materials have increased significantly and the cost pressure on the upstream supply chain has far exceeded the company's internal digestibility limit. The company decided to adjust product prices, and the new price system will take effect from May 6.

Xincaichen mainly focuses on LED flexible screens and XR immersive solutions, and its products cover indoor and outdoor advertising, cultural entertainment, sports venues and other fields.

2. Control system

Colorlight

From April 24th to 29th, Colorlight issued two product price adjustment notices. Starting from May 1, the price of its server series products will be increased by less than 50%; the edge computing terminal series (AX/AI/CM series) products will have differentiated price adjustments based on models, with an increase range of 20%-80%.

Beijing Xiaoniao

On April 29, Beijing Xiaoniao issued a price adjustment notice, announcing that starting from May 1, 2026, Feather Control asynchronous card AC and AP series products will implement differentiated price adjustments.

Beijing Xiaoniao is deeply involved in the field of professional audio-visual display and control, and its product lines are mainly divided into three categories: first, centralized audio and video processing equipment, including large-screen splicing equipment, matrix switching equipment, agent management equipment, conference collaboration processing equipment and LED display control equipment; second, distributed audio and video processing equipment, covering distributed systems with multiple compression algorithms; third, visual comprehensive management and control platform, including visual operation and maintenance management and control platform and intelligent video integration cloud platform.

Jucheng Electronics

On April 30, Jucheng Electronics announced that due to the pressure on the cost of LED display control card products, the company will adjust the prices of related products from May 11, 2026: 1-4 network port all-in-one machines, Ax/AQx offline players, and R series receiving cards will increase by 10%, and 6, 8, 12, and 16 network port all-in-one machines will increase by 5%. The prices of large splicing processing products will remain unchanged.

Jucheng Electronics focuses on the research and development, production and sales of LED display control systems. In terms of product layout, Nanjing Jucheng Electronics provides LED control system hardware such as video splicers, video all-in-one machines, sending cards, receiving cards, multi-function cards and supporting software, and continues to invest in the research and development of new LED integrated automatic splicing intelligent modules.

3.LED driver IC

In terms of LED driver ICs, Chiptronc, Lipxin, and Fumant Micro have recently issued product price adjustment letters. According to the announcement, affected by multiple factors such as rising upstream wafer costs, price increases in the packaging and testing process, and the AI industry's squeeze on production capacity, the three companies have decided to increase the prices of their entire range of LED driver products from now on, with the increase generally being more than 30%.

It is worth noting that at the beginning of this year, the LED industry chain has experienced price increases due to dramatic fluctuations in precious metal raw material prices, covering upstream chips, midstream packaging and downstream applications. The product range spans LED lamp beads, PCB boards, commercial TVs and lighting equipment. In the coming time, we still need to continue to pay attention to whether the LED industry chain will continue to increase prices.
