Vivo’s first MR headset Vision unveiled

At the end of last year, vivo announced that it would launch a mixed reality head-mounted display device. At the recent Boao Forum for Asia, vivo showed its MR head-mounted display called Vision for the first time. From the appearance, the design style of Vision is very similar to Apple’s Vision Pro, with many cameras integrated on the front panel and the same external battery design.

Vivo stated that the prototype of Vision will be officially unveiled in mid-2025. In addition, detailed information about this headset is relatively limited.

It is understood that this MR headset is part of vivo's strategy to strengthen its "real-time spatial computing capabilities to cope with future consumer-grade robot applications." At the same time, vivo announced the establishment of a new robotics laboratory in China. It plans to use the laboratory to build the "brain" and "eyes" of the robot, and use its technical expertise in "AI large model learning and imaging" to promote related research and development.

vivo also recently announced that it will launch the X200 Ultra mobile phone in April, at which time vivo is expected to announce more information about the vivo Vision headset.
