TCL Huaxing T8 project places an order for display equipment worth 40 million yuan
On May 19, South Korean display manufacturer Viatron announced that the company had signed a display manufacturing equipment supply contract with Guangzhou Huaxing Optoelectronics Printing Display Technology Co., Ltd. The contract value is 8.845 billion won (approximately RMB 40 million), and the period is from May 18, 2026 to December 17, 2026.
It is reported that Viatron focuses on heat treatment equipment in the display panel manufacturing process. It is an OLED TFT and LTPS heat treatment solution provider. Its main products are annealing furnaces, PI curing furnaces and other equipment. The company’s main customers include South Korea’s Samsung Display and LG Display, as well as mainstream panel manufacturers such as BOE, Visionox, and Tianma in mainland China.

Guangzhou Huaxing Optoelectronics Printing Display Technology Co., Ltd. is a TCL Huaxing holding company and is mainly responsible for operating the world's first large-scale mass production of the G8.6 generation printed OLED production line (t8) project. The total investment of the project is approximately 29.5 billion yuan, with a designed monthly processing capacity of approximately 22,500 2290mm×2620mm glass substrates. The project focuses on the medium-sized high-end display market and can cover multiple application scenarios such as professional displays, notebook computers, desktop monitors, tablet computers, and vehicle-mounted displays. The project started in November 2025 and was capped in May this year. It is expected to achieve mass production in 2027.
According to information from Binet, the bidding results for the inkjet printers, ion implanters, sputtering machines, etching machines and other equipment required for the first phase of TCL Huaxing's 8.6th generation printed OLED production line project have been released.
Qingdao BOE plans to purchase 5 sets of X-ray real-time imaging detection systems
Recently, the environmental impact report form disclosed by the Qingdao Municipal Ecological Environment Bureau shows that in order to meet the non-destructive testing requirements of circuit board components during product production, Qingdao BOE Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Qingdao BOE") plans to purchase 5 sets of RMX3000 X-ray real-time imaging inspection systems, which will use X-ray technology to provide high-resolution images in real time to detect whether the internal circuits of defective products are broken.
The X-ray real-time imaging detection system consists of an X-ray machine, imaging system, sample stage, operating position and self-shielded lead room. It is planned to be installed in the X-ray inspection room in the laboratory area on the northwest side of the factory module building. The total investment of the project is 4.64 million yuan, and the environmental protection investment is 200,000 yuan.
Documents show that Qingdao BOE was established in September 2021 with a registered capital of 5 billion yuan and a total factory area of approximately 783 acres. The first phase of the BOE Internet of Things mobile display port device production base project constructed by the company has passed independent acceptance on February 22, 2023. The first phase of the project has completed the construction of 10 mobile phone display module production lines and 7 computer display module production lines. The production capacity of mobile phone display modules has reached 60 million units/year and MNT display modules (computer display modules) 9.639 million units/year. (Compiled by TrendForce Display)
