Rokid receives new investment to promote research and development of human-computer interaction technology

On April 22, Highpower Technology announced the completion of its strategic investment in the AI+AR technology company Rokid. This investment is intended to support Rokid’s innovative research and development in the field of Home A.I. and further promote the innovation of human-computer interaction technology.

Rokid, as a global AI+AR industry manufacturer, has released a series of products such as Rokid Glasses and Rokid AR Lite, equipped with cutting-edge AR optics, multi-modal interaction and local AI large model capabilities.

It is worth noting that Rokid has recently ushered in a round of intensive entry of industrial capital. On March 30, 2026, Hong Kong optical giant Connet Optics announced that it planned to participate in Rokid’s latest round of financing with 180 million yuan. In addition, Huace Film and Television also strategically invested 90 million yuan in Rokid in March 2026.

Among them, Lens Technology not only became a strategic shareholder, but also served as Rokid’s exclusive manufacturing partner; SenseTime Technology provided in-depth support for the core algorithm.

As the latest strategic investor in Rokid, Highpower Technology is engaged in the R&D, design, manufacturing and sales of lithium-ion batteries and nickel-metal hydride batteries. Currently, the company is focusing on the development of AI end-side energy business. It has built a stepped technology matrix from liquid high silicon, solid-liquid to all-solid, achieved mass production of high-energy-density, high-safety customized batteries, and successfully entered the global smart glasses head customer supply chain.

This strategic investment will promote in-depth cooperation between the two parties. Highpower Technology will be deeply involved in the early design and definition of Rokid products, and jointly overcome industry pain points such as battery life, weight, and safety.
