MicroLED products are starting to ramp up, and Fucai’s full-year performance is expected to grow quarter by quarter

Peng Shuanglang, chairman of LED Factory Fucai, said at a conference recently that the revenue performance in the first quarter of this year was roughly the same as that in the fourth quarter of last year, benefiting from the increased contribution of its value-added applications and the initial increase in the volume of Micro LED products, which will help improve the overall sales mix, increase gross profit margin performance, and drive quarterly growth in the full-year operations in 2025. The company has also further deepened its layout of silicon photonics communication application technology in the short, medium and long-range fields.

Peng Shuanglang believes that revenue in the "3+1" field of automotive, advanced display, intelligent sensing and new fields will continue to rise, including professional lighting, sensing applications and automotive display. The performance will be better than last year, and the products that will start to ferment in the next 2 or 3 years include a new phase of automotive design introduction projects, as well as optical communication products for which R&D resources are being invested.

Mini LED displays are picking up and moving forward for automotive use

Fan Jinyong, chairman of Longda, said that although Mini LED TV products still have price pressures, thanks to the market's demand for large-size panels, the company's direct backlight product advantages will continue until next year, which will help overall performance and profitability. In addition, driven by the AIPC trend this year, notebook monitor shipments will also increase, and new customers will begin to contribute revenue in the second half of this year.

Fan Jinyong mentioned that the group's Mini LED automotive backlight and Taiwan automotive display production lines in mainland China have been completed. This year, related samples such as headlights, taillights, and direction lights will be gradually sent to customers for verification. Some revenue will be generated in the process. It is expected that after obtaining certification at the end of the year, the level of contribution will increase in 2026. In addition to being favored by American customers, it will also continue to connect projects with European customers this year, and will not give up the huge business opportunities of Chinese car manufacturers in the future.

Micro LED assists in the field of silicon photonics communications

Epistar Chairman Tang Xiumu pointed out that this year its sensing products will be used in blood pressure, As the adoption rate of smart wearable devices for measuring blood sugar and AI laptops with facial recognition has increased, customers have increased their efforts to purchase goods, so the performance can maintain positive growth. In terms of plant lighting, downstream demand has also driven demand for high-end products, and the yield rate of the product itself has improved. We are optimistic about the whole year.

Regarding the layout of silicon photonics, Tang Xiumu said that this new type of technology will gradually replace copper wires in the transmission field. Indium phosphide will be used for long distances, surface-emitting lasers for medium distances, and Micro LEDs for short distances. In addition to having a Micro LED production line, the group is also strengthening its research and development capabilities for the other two technologies, and will cooperate through the Silicon Photonics Alliance ecological chain in the future.
