Hubei Liyou Optoelectronics ultra-wide polarizer base will be mass-produced in May

Recently, Huanggang Municipal Economic and Information Technology Bureau reported that as a core investment project of domestic polarizer company Sanlipu, Hubei Liyou Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd. is promoting the mass production of ultra-wide polarizer base.

It is reported that Hubei Liyou Optoelectronics is located in Huanggang High-tech Zone, focusing on the research, development and production of polarizers, the core material of high-standard display screens. Relying on its advanced technology reserves and industrial synergy advantages, Hubei Liyou Optoelectronics is committed to breaking the long-term dependence on imports of high-end polarizers and plans to build the largest single-scale polarizer production base in Huanggang. Currently, Liyou Optoelectronics is debugging the process parameters of the project production line and sprinting towards the official mass production target in May this year.

It is understood that Hubei Liyou Optoelectronics’ ultra-wide polarizer base has a total investment of 2.16 billion yuan, with a planned annual output of 30 million square meters of polarizers, and an estimated annual output value of 1.5 billion yuan. The production line currently undergoing trial production has a width of 2,300 mm, far exceeding the industry standard of 1,490 mm, which means the base can produce polarizers suitable for 100-inch ultra-large TV screens.

Since polarizers have extremely strict requirements on the production environment, Liyou Optoelectronics has equipped a thousand-level dust-free workshop in the factory construction. The project technical leader pointed out that the ultra-wide production line poses extremely high challenges to the stability of optical uniformity and process capabilities. The team is currently through refined debugging to minimize the impact of equipment components on material properties and ensure that product quality meets standards.

According to data, Hubei Liyou Optoelectronics was established in December 2024. The company's business scope covers display device manufacturing, electronic special materials sales, new material technology research and development, functional glass and new optical material sales, display device sales, as well as goods import and export, technology import and export, domestic trade agency and other businesses.

At present, Hubei Liyou Optoelectronics focuses on the field of polarizers, and its main business is the research and development and production of polarizer products. It has become an important partner of large international panel companies such as BOE, TCL CSOT, Huike, and Sharp.
