According to the Securities Times, on March 13, Ningbo Huancaixing Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Huancaixing") held a groundbreaking ceremony for the second phase of Wangchun Industrial Park in Haishu District, Ningbo City.
Huancaixing revealed that the newly added 41 acres of industrial land in the industrial park will directly support the company's investment in the construction of new G6 and G8 precision metal mask (FMM) production lines. On the one hand, it can complete the full-generation product matrix to meet the customized needs of different customers in consumer electronics, vehicle-mounted displays, AR/VR and other fields; on the other hand, through the scale advantage brought by the increase in production capacity, it will strengthen the vertical layout of the company's industrial chain and enhance the domestic supply and supporting capabilities from raw materials to terminal applications.
It is reported that FMM is an indispensable "pixel master" in the production process of OLED screens, and its function is similar to that of a camera film. Every tiny pixel on the screen needs to be accurately imaged through tens of millions of micro-holes on this "metal film", thus determining the clarity and color reproduction of the final display.
Data show that the core business positioning of Huancaixing Technology is the independent research and development and industrialization of semiconductor patterning technology for micron-level ultra-thin metal materials, focusing on the research, development, production and sales of all types of metal masks (FMM/CMM/CVD Mask).
At the end of 2024, the Huancaixing Phase II factory located in Haishu Wangchun Industrial Park was officially put into operation, taking the lead in realizing the trial production of G8.6 generation FMM products.
In November 2025, Huancaixing completed the move-in of China's first G8.6 generation FMM manufacturing line. The production line has a total investment of 580 million yuan and has ultra-wide material processing capabilities of more than 700 mm. It is said to be one of the most integrated and automated production lines in the world and is expected to be officially put into production in 2026.
This production line integrates core processes such as high-precision photolithography, electroforming, and laser cutting to meet the mass production needs of 8.6-generation OLED panels (corresponding to a glass substrate size of 2250mm × 2600mm). Compared with the G6-generation production line, the production efficiency is increased by more than 40%. The pixel accuracy is controlled at the micron level, and it can support the manufacturing of high-resolution OLED products such as 4K and 8K.
