Hongli Display provides MiniLED touch screens for drone brands

According to the Hongli Zhihui WeChat public account, since its release in May this year, a new flagship model of a certain head drone brand has been put on sale. The accompanying remote control uses a 7.02-inch Mini LED touch screen developed by Hongli Display, a subsidiary of Hongli Zhihui.

According to reports, the screen uses Mini LED backlight technology, with a brightness of up to 1400nit, and a 384-partition independent light control design, which improves contrast and reduces light leakage and highlight overflow in dark areas. It is suitable for viewing flight parameters and image monitoring needs in strong light environments.

In the flight control application of Mini LED screen, Hongli Display has customized the design according to the requirements of power consumption, heat dissipation and thinness of the remote control to adapt to the use needs in complex environments such as high temperature and strong light.

The person in charge of the company's backlight products said that for display products that need to be used outdoors or in strong light environments, ordinary screens often face challenges such as blurry images and color distortion. Mini LED backlight can easily break through this bottleneck with its core advantages of ultra-high brightness and ultra-high contrast. Even when operated under the scorching sun, the screen equipped with Mini LED backlight can maintain the clarity of the picture without reflection or distortion, ensuring safe flight.

Hongli Display has been deploying in the Mini LED field since 2019. Currently, it has developed two technical routes, COB and POB, with products covering different size segments from VR equipment, laptops to TVs. The company has built mini LED backlight production lines of small to medium and large sizes, and is equipped with more than 30 inspection equipment covering incoming materials, manufacturing processes and shipments, as well as reliability laboratories and clean production workshops.
