Hisense Vidda and Huawei release new MiniLED TV products

On March 23, Hisense’s brands Vidda and Huawei successively released new Mini LED TV products.

Hisense Vidda releases Mini LED gaming TV

The product adopts the G+Mini LED solution in the display architecture and is equipped with 3264 partition backlight. Officially, the peak brightness can reach 7300nits and supports 100% DCI-P3 color gamut. Its optical structure improves halo and contrast performance by shortening the OD distance and improving light gathering efficiency. It is also equipped with a low-reflective coating, with a reflectivity of about 1.8% to adapt to viewing needs in bright environments.

In terms of performance, the TV uses a collaborative solution between an independent image quality chip and a main control chip to reduce the impact of image quality processing on latency. The official backlight response delay is 4.8ms, and it supports automatic identification of game types for image quality matching. In addition, algorithm-based image quality enhancement functions are provided for low-resolution content.

In terms of refresh rate and interface configuration, the product supports 4K 180Hz or 2K 330Hz display mode, is compatible with VRR, ALLM and other features, and provides 3 HDMI 2.1 interfaces (48Gbps bandwidth). FreeSync is also supported to reduce screen tearing issues.

In terms of audio and connectivity, the TV is equipped with a 4.1.2-channel sound system and an external bass unit, supports WiFi 7 and Gigabit network ports, and has built-in 4GB+64GB storage. The system provides game content aggregation and host identification functions, but the overall ecosystem still relies on content platform and host device support.

Huawei Mini LED Vision Smart Screen 6 goes on sale

On the same day, Huawei launched Vision Smart Screen 6 and went on sale on JD.com, offering four versions of 65, 75, 85, and 98 inches, with initial prices of 6,199 yuan, 7,399 yuan, 10,299 yuan, and 16,499 yuan respectively.

In terms of display, the product is equipped with a 4K Super Mini LED 288Hz screen, and the 98-inch version has a thousand-level partition. The screen uses a double-layer nano-low-reflective coating with a reflectivity of about 0.5%; the liquid crystal layer is a sixth-generation solution, and officials say the light transmittance is about 20% higher than the previous generation.

In terms of appearance, this series has a body thickness of about 4.9 cm, a screen-to-body ratio of up to nearly 99%, and is available in two frame colors: morning light birch and smoked walnut.

In terms of parameters, the peak brightness of the screen can reach up to 2000 nits, covering 98% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. In terms of performance and connectivity, the device has a built-in quad-core A73 processor, is equipped with 8GB of memory, provides 3 HDMI 2.1 interfaces, and supports Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2. At the same time, the system is equipped with Hongmeng AI and supports the Lingxi pointing remote control function. (Compiled by LEDinside)
