Focusing on iVISION smart headlights, Xingyu reached strategic cooperation with Ouye and Jingneng

On April 23, at the Shanghai Auto Show, Xingyu Co., Ltd., Ouye Semiconductor and Jingneng Optoelectronics officially signed a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement. The three parties will carry out in-depth cooperation around the "full independent industry chain ecology" and jointly develop iVISION smart headlights.

This strategic cooperation aims to integrate superior resources from the upstream and downstream of the industrial chain to form an independent and controllable industrial chain, with a view to enhancing the core competitiveness of China's automotive lighting industry.

Xingyu Co., Ltd. is a major automotive lighting supplier in China, focusing on the design, development, manufacturing and sales of front lighting fixtures, rear lighting fixtures and interior and exterior lighting for vehicles (especially passenger cars). Its customers include many domestic and foreign automobile manufacturers.

Founded in 2021, Ouye Semiconductor is a system-level SoC chip and solution provider focusing on the third-generation E/E architecture of smart cars. The company's sponsors include the founding team and SDIC Investment Promotion, and its shareholders include automotive industry companies such as SAIC Venture Capital, Xingyu Auto Lighting, Joyson Electronics, and a number of investment institutions.

Founded in 2006, Jingneng Optoelectronics is a vertically integrated semiconductor optoelectronic product provider with underlying chip core technology. The company provides LED (epitaxy, chip, package and module) light source and sensing device products and solutions to customers around the world.

iVISION headlights are the main result of this cooperation. This product integrates the technical advantages of three parties, realizes the full-range ADB high-beam function, and adopts the first self-closed loop algorithm and the national Industrialized supply chain, as well as technical features such as ultra-wide angle, ultra-high brightness, and ultra-multiple pixels. It is said that the headlight integrates the world's first dedicated SoC chip for car lights and the first domestic Micro LED light source chip, aiming to improve algorithm performance and light efficiency.
