Chenxian Optoelectronics and Lumière Films build Suzhou’s first independent intellectual property 4K LED cinema

On May 7, Chenxian Optoelectronics’ public account reported that Suzhou’s first 4K high-definition high-brightness LED screen theater with independent intellectual property rights was officially opened in Kunshan Golden Eagle Lumière Cinema.

This theater is jointly built by Chenxian Optoelectronics and Lumiere Films. It is the first application of Chenxian Optoelectronics’ 4K ultra-high-definition high-brightness LED screen in high-end cinema scenes. Kunshan Golden Eagle Lumiere Cinema has also become the first cinema in the country to use 4K high-definition high-brightness LED screens.

It is reported that the 4K LED movie screen created by Chenxian Optoelectronics has ultra-high contrast, greater than 75% pixel fullness, high uniformity, 16-bit high grayscale and high dynamic range, and fully covers the DCI-P3 wide color gamut. The screen can clearly present picture details and accurately restore colors at peak brightness, and can further increase the space utilization of the theater.

Information shows that Chenxian Optoelectronics is an LED display technology company that mainly focuses on the development of Micro LED technology. It has mastered many core technologies such as driver architecture, hybrid Bin technology, mass transfer, infinite splicing technology, and Micro LED-specific TFT backplane. In December 2024, Chenxian Optoelectronics successfully lit up the first TFT-based Micro LED mass production line in mainland China.

Currently , Chenxian Optoelectronics’ LED display products are mainly used in large-size commercial display fields, such as giant screen displays, command and dispatch large screens, high-end conference large screens, etc.
