BOE's Blue Whale display large model completed the docking with the "Lobster Intelligent"

On April 13, BOE (BOE) completed the docking of the Blue Whale display large model with the agent software OpenClaw. It is the first in the industry to implement intelligent applications in high-frequency scenarios such as information query, document operation, internal approval, email processing, and code generation.

The connection between the Blue Whale display large model and the Lobster intelligent agent has promoted the extension of BOE's AI capabilities from "knowledge service" to "task execution" and provided leading practices for the implementation of intelligent agents in the display industry.

After accessing the Lobster Agent this time, the Blue Whale display large model is further deeply integrated with the task execution entrance, business process and collaborative tool system, extending the large model capabilities from "understanding semantics, generating content" to "understanding intent, scheduling resources, and executing tasks." For the display manufacturing industry, which has complex processes, intensive knowledge, and long collaboration chains, this breakthrough will help open up the connection between industry knowledge, business systems, and intelligent tools, and promote AI applications from single-point efficiency improvement to system empowerment.

At present, the collaborative capabilities of the Blue Whale display model and the Lobster Agent have been applied in depth in high-frequency scenarios such as information query, document operation, internal approval, email processing, and code generation.

The 2025 annual report information disclosed by BOE shows that in 2026, the company will comprehensively promote the "AI+" strategy, focusing on the three major sectors of production and manufacturing, product innovation, and corporate operations, based on the principle of "business guidance, technology-driven", and comprehensively empowering industrial upgrading through the "AI+ strategy".

It is reported that BOE’s “AI+” strategy is specifically developed in three dimensions. "AI+ Manufacturing" focuses on the intelligent reshaping of core links such as planning, production, quality, and environment. The company has taken the lead in the industry in proposing to build an AI factory that integrates the highest efficiency, lowest cost, and best quality; "AI+ Products" relies on AI-driven material research, simulation design, process innovation, and intelligent algorithms to strengthen the capabilities of terminal scenario solutions; "AI+ Operations" promotes the formation of a smarter corporate decision-making center by building vertical intelligence in the fields of market insight, production planning, supply chain, and operation management.

Jiang Xingqun, BOE’s senior vice president and co-chief technology officer of the group, said that BOE uses its self-developed large-scale Blue Whale display model as the technical base to promote the “AI+” strategy and implement many leading practices in the fields of manufacturing, products and operations. He said that the core value of technology lies in enabling businesses to produce practical results. In the future, BOE will continue to deepen its efforts in scenario-based applications, build and promote industry benchmark AI factories, and promote the upgrading of the display industry towards intelligence and scenario-based applications.
