BOE: The overall utilization rate of LCD TV product supply is expected to be at a high level in March

On February 25, BOE accepted a specific survey and provided relevant responses to questions about LCD TV product prices, storage price increases, etc.:

1. How does the company view the price trend of LCD TV products?

Answer: From the demand side, affected by factors such as sports events and the Spring Festival, TV brand manufacturers continued to have strong demand for stocking since the fourth quarter of 2025 in the first quarter, and TV product shipments continued to rise. On the supply side, manufacturers in the industry adhere to the "production on demand" strategy and flexibly adjust utilization rates to match demand. The overall utilization rate is expected to be high in March.

According to data from a third-party consulting agency, the prices of TV products of all mainstream sizes will continue to rise across the board in February 2026, and the price increase will expand. TV panel prices are expected to continue to rise in March.

2. What are the new developments in the company’s current innovative business?

Answer: Under the guidance of the "Nth Curve" theory, the company continues to implement the "Screen IoT" development strategy, focusing on innovative businesses such as perovskite photovoltaics and glass-based packaging substrates.

In terms of perovskite business, the company relies on its long-term accumulation of glass-based processing capabilities, thin film preparation process capabilities, packaging and equipment advantages, and large-scale intelligent manufacturing capabilities in the display industry to effectively empower the research and development and production of perovskite solar cells.

In terms of glass-based packaging carrier technology, the company has completed the construction of a pilot line for large-scale glass carriers and achieved process integration. The perovskite business and glass-based advanced packaging business, as representative businesses laid out under the company's "Nth Curve" strategic dimensionality theory, will continue to promote the company's future growth.

3. What impact will storage price increases have on the display industry?

Answer: Due to the impact of rising storage prices on consumer electronics, it is expected that terminal manufacturers and panel manufacturers will be under certain pressure in some product categories. In terms of product categories, the demand for notebook computers and smartphone terminals may have a certain impact; taking into account factors such as the growth in demand for TV area, the impact on the demand for TV terminals will be limited.

4. How can the company further improve the efficiency of LCD factories?
