Agency: Global AMOLED smartphone panel shipments declined year-on-year in the third quarter, with domestic manufacturers’ share exceeding 30% for the first time

Data released by CINNO Research shows that in the third quarter of 2022, the global market AMOLED smartphone panel shipments were approximately 140 million pieces, a year-on-year decrease of 4.8% and a month-on-month increase of 9.1%. Although driven by the peak season effect, the demand for AMOLED smartphone panels has rebounded month-on-month, but the year-on-year downward trend continues. In the first three quarters of this year, AMOLED smartphone shipments in the global market have shown negative growth. In terms of regions, South Korea's share accounted for 69.6%, and domestic manufacturers' shipment share accounted for 30.4%, exceeding 30% for the first time.
