13 companies compete on the same stage, summary of new Mini LED TV products in 2026

Recently, Toshiba and Samsung have successively released 2026 new Mini LED TV products, kicking off the annual technology competition. So far, 13 manufacturers have released new products, covering multiple technical routes such as white Mini LED, RGB-Mini LED and SQD-Mini LED.

Toshiba releases new primary color RGB-Mini LED TV products

On March 26, Toshiba TV officially released new REGZA ZX series, REGZA 700 series and Cheese 600 series products at the "2026 Real Audio and Video and Primary Color RGB Mini LED Flagship New Product Launch Conference".

According to reports, the new product uses a polycrystalline primary color backlight chip and is equipped with a ZRa AI light and color simultaneous control chip, which can achieve up to 134-bit color control accuracy, making the picture color performance purer and more three-dimensional. At the same time, the AI image quality adaptive and AI sound effect adaptive functions can automatically identify and match the best audio and video modes according to different content, improving the overall audio-visual experience.

Among them, the REGZA Z700SF PRO series has 108-bit light and color precise control capabilities. The 75-inch is priced at 16,499 yuan, the 85-inch is 21,499 yuan, and the 100-inch is 31,499 yuan.

In terms of display performance, the new Mini LED TV achieves higher brightness and deeper contrast through more refined backlight partition control, bringing a more layered picture performance. Relying on Pure Spectrum Color technology, the product can present billions of colors. At the same time, combined with Color Booster Pro, AI can be used to dynamically adjust different scenes to further enhance color expression. In addition, Mini LED HDR enhances the bright and dark details of the picture, making the overall look closer to a cinematic effect.

In terms of core configuration, M80H is equipped with NQ4 AI Gen2 processor and supports 144Hz Motion Xcelerator. When connected to a PC, DLG 240Hz technology further reduces latency and enhances the gaming experience. In terms of smart experience, the Mini LED series is equipped with Samsung Vision AI system, integrating voice assistant, real-time translation, AI game viewing mode and other functions.

In terms of size and product layout, this series covers from 43 inches to 85 inches, and plans to launch the 100-inch M90H later this year to meet the trend of large screens. Among them, M80H is positioned at the mid-to-high end, while M70H is aimed at the more mass market. Product price information is as follows:

New Mini LED TV products will emerge in an endless stream in 2026

From the perspective of the industry rhythm, in addition to Toshiba and Samsung, since this year, manufacturers such as Hisense, TCL, Vidda, Huawei, Philips, Sony, Changhong, Thunderbird, Xuimi, Huike, and Zhaochi have also intensively launched and released new Mini LED TV products.

From a technical perspective, RGB Mini LED has become the focus of high-end breakthroughs. Compared with the traditional "blue LED + quantum dot film" solution, RGB Mini LED emits light independently in three colors of red, green and blue, which can directly achieve a higher color gamut and more precise light control, reducing color conversion loss. This year, Hisense, Philips, Sony, Zhuimi, Huike, Zhaochi, etc. have successively launched RGB Mini LED related products or technical solutions to accelerate the industrialization of this route.

Among them, Hisense launched three RGB-Mini LED TVs this year, namely E8S, UX 2026, and E7S Pro, further improving the product matrix and extending the product coverage size to 65 inches, promoting the extension of this technology from high-end large sizes to a wider consumer market.

Changhong has released the industry's first "Light and Color Field Simultaneous Control" RGB-Mini LED TV Gold Label T70S. To address the mutual interference problem of red, green and blue colors in traditional RGB-Mini LEDs, it uses "Light and Color Field Simultaneous Control" technology to perform coordinated control from three aspects: light, color and scene. In terms of display hardware, the T70S uses the black diamond infinity screen Ultra customized jointly with BOE.

It is worth mentioning that with the development of RGB-Mini LED technology, some manufacturers have begun to explore material systems, such as introducing glass substrates. The glass substrate has good thermal stability and thermal conductivity, which helps improve the stability of high-area Mini LED backlights under high loads and provides support for ultra-thin designs. Compared with traditional PCB or aluminum substrate, it has more advantages in flatness and structural consistency, but the related process and reliability are still being verified, and it has not yet achieved large-scale mature application.

In terms of specific products, in March this year, Chuimi teamed up with Woge Optoelectronics to launch the 85-inch glass-based RGB Mini LED TV Z8000. This product uses 16,128 backlight partitions and is matched with approximately 64,512 Mini LED lamp beads. It improves local light control capabilities through high partition density design, thus improving picture uniformity and detail performance to a certain extent.

TCL is betting on the SQD-Mini LED technology route. This year, it has launched 5 new SQD-Mini LED TV products, including Q10M, Q10M Pro, T7M Pro, T7M Ultra, and Q9M Pro. Specifically, in January, TCL launched the Q10M series, applying SQD-Mini LED technology to TV products priced at 10,000 yuan for the first time. In March, TCL further decentralized the technology to the Q9 and T7 series, which have annual sales of more than 600,000 units, covering mainstream price segments and promoting the popularization of the technology.

Finally, it is worth mentioning that 2026 has become a critical year for AI technology to deeply empower the TV industry. New Mini LED products launched by major brands are equipped with AI-related technologies. For example, the new series released by Samsung above relies on AI to achieve dynamic adjustment of picture quality, intelligent scene recognition, voice interaction and game viewing mode and other functional upgrades, making AI a core configuration for improving product experience.

Summary

In 2026, Mini LED TVs will enter the stage of large-scale popularization, with leading brands such as Samsung, TCL, and Hisense intensively deployed. TrendForce analysts believe that Mini LED TVs will form a coexistence pattern of four major technical routes: white Mini LED, QD-Mini LED, RGB Mini LED, and SQD-Mini LED. At the product level, TV products are gradually beginning to differentiate. TV products based on RGB-Mini LED and SQD Mini LED technologies will still focus on flagship high-end models, while TV products with white Mini LED and QD-Mini LED technologies will quickly sink into the market. In addition, product size coverage is more comprehensive; secondly, driven by the exploration of new materials such as glass substrates, high-zoning solutions, and algorithm blessings, image quality continues to upgrade.

At the same time, AI has fully penetrated image quality processing, intelligent interaction, scene adaptation and ecological linkage, becoming the core of product differentiation. Industry competition has shifted from pure parameter competition to a comprehensive strength competition of "hardware technology + AI experience + price coverage".

Faced with this rapidly developing industrial landscape, TrendForce will hold the 2026 New Display Industry Seminar (DTS) from April 22 to 23. Among them, the MLED display special session on April 22 will bring together experts and analysts in Mini LED and related fields to conduct in-depth discussions around key industry issues and provide forward-looking reference for industry development. Welcome to sign up and discuss the cutting-edge trends in the industry together. (Text: LEDinside Mia)
