Xinyuanji has made a breakthrough in matrix MicroLED car lighting chips

According to reports, thanks to the optimization and consolidation of the company's core technology and the application of innovative patented technology, the brightness of Micro LED car light chips has been improved. Among them, chemical lift-off technology can not only transfer a large amount of GaN pixels to the CMOS driver chip without damage, but also uniformly roughen the light-emitting surface of the pixels into a pyramidal microstructure.

In addition, the patented metal air bridge connection technology is also applied and demonstrated for the first time in this product. Due to the connection of the metal air bridge, 40 μm pixels can be isolated and electrically connected, thereby producing high contrast and high definition effects. Compared with chips produced by laser lift-off, the effect is obvious.

Xin Yuanji said that the first year of digital car headlights has begun, and various manufacturers in the industry chain are also working at full capacity on research and development, striving to gain first-mover advantages. As the core link in the industrial chain, the company strives to apply its products as soon as possible to improve vehicle driving safety.

According to reports, digital headlights play a role in a variety of application scenarios, such as distance prompts, lane change prompts, narrow road vision assistance, curved light blanket lighting, tunnel scenes, welcome scenes, weather and music projections, automatic driving prompts, lane safety guidance, courtesy pedestrian prompts, etc.

It is reported that Xinyuanji was founded in 2014 and is a company that independently develops, designs and produces sapphire-based GaN high-end thin film structure chips and Mini/Micro LED chips based on third-generation semiconductor gallium nitride (GaN) materials.

In terms of Micro LED, Xinyuanji has made many breakthroughs: in 2022, it will light up a 5μm Micro LED chip array on a full screen; in 2023, it will realize a 0.39-inch monochrome Micro LED display video display, achieve a breakthrough in Micro LED mass transfer technology, and develop a wafer-level seal mass transfer process, achieving zero deviation in the position of the transferred chip.
