Xinlong Optoelectronics won the first WIPO Global Award and became the only company in the LED industry to be on the list

On July 19, the first WIPO Global Awards ceremony was held during the WIPO General Assembly. Five companies stood out from 272 applicants from 62 countries. The five companies, in alphabetical order, are: Hydraloop (Netherlands), Lucence (Singapore), Ripaining (China), Xinlong Optoelectronics (China) and Splink (Japan).

It is reported that the WIPO Global Award is a global awards program launched by the World Intellectual Property Organization, aiming to recognize companies and individuals around the world that have a positive impact on domestic and foreign economic, social and cultural progress through the use of intellectual property. The five winning companies will receive exclusive guidance plans and other forms of support and assistance from WIPO to help them transform and use their intellectual property rights.

Among the award-winning companies this time, Chinese companies have two seats, and Xinlong Optoelectronics has become the only LED industry company among the award-winning companies.

According to the official website of Xinlong Optoelectronics, the full name of Xinlong Optoelectronics is Shanghai Xinlong Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd. The company was founded in 2010 and is headquartered in Shanghai. The company focuses on the design, production and sales of LED outdoor architectural, landscape lighting and road lighting. It has four wholly-owned subsidiaries: Xinlong Innovation Optoelectronics (Kunshan) Co., Ltd., Shanghai Xiangyonglong Landscape Lighting Co., Ltd., Xinlong Optoelectronics (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. and Xinlong Optoelectronics (Europe) Design Center.

In terms of cases, Xinlong Optoelectronics has served many iconic projects such as the Shanghai Exhibition Center, Shanghai International Import Expo Landscape Lighting, Dubai World Expo, Russia World Cup, Saudi Arabia Tower, France Charles de Gaulle Airport, etc.
