With a total investment of 6 billion yuan, Hunan Loudi Semiconductor MLED project started construction

On July 28, the construction of the Semiconductor Display New Materials Industrial Park in Loudi, Hunan, officially started. The industrial park has a total investment of 6 billion yuan and consists of two projects: MLED display chips from Hunan Blue Core Microelectronics Technology Co., Ltd. and MLED display modules from Hunan Aolan New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. The construction period is 10 months. After reaching capacity, it will be able to produce 500,000 MLED core components and 66,000 square meters of MLED display modules annually, creating 1,600 new jobs.

Information shows that Blue Core Microelectronics was established in 2023 with a registered capital of 1.5 billion yuan. Its business scope includes: integrated circuit design; integrated circuit chip and product manufacturing; integrated circuit chip and product sales; semiconductor lighting device sales; semiconductor lighting device manufacturing, etc.

Aolan New Material Technology Company was established in 2022 with a registered capital of 1.8 billion yuan. Its business scope includes: glass manufacturing; technical glass product manufacturing; optical glass manufacturing; glass instrument manufacturing; daily glass product manufacturing, etc.

From the shareholder information, it can be found that the controlling shareholders of the above two companies are the Urban Development Holding Group under the Loudi State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission.The company holds 39.93% and 39.94% of the shares of Blue Core Microelectronics and Aolan New Materials respectively.

Regarding the start of this project, Xiao Xiongjie, Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Loudi Economic Development Zone, said that Loudi, Hunan will take the construction of the Semiconductor Display New Materials Industrial Park as an opportunity to actively develop strategic emerging industries such as display devices, LED optoelectronics, and software information, create a new electronic information industry cluster, and deeply integrate into the Changsha, Nanjing, and Hefei metropolitan areas, and strive to achieve joint development.
