On May 8, TCL Huaxing announced that the Suzhou base has recently completed the overall installation of the core process equipment of the MLED PH2 project. The arrival of this equipment means that the company's MLED direct display business has entered a new stage. In the future, equipment debugging will be carried out in an orderly manner and the connection of production lines to mass production will be promoted.

This production line upgrade is mainly reflected in two aspects: production capacity and technology. In terms of production capacity, after reaching full production, the monthly production capacity of COB direct display products will be increased from 6K to 12K, doubling the production capacity and increasing the ability to deliver large batch orders and stabilize supply.
At the process level, this production line upgrade simultaneously builds an elastic wire structure, configures small and medium-sized wire bodies, effectively improves the flexibility of customized production, and can quickly adapt to multiple varieties, small batches, and personalized customized orders, achieving flexible production scheduling and accurate delivery.
At the same time, the production line further expands the process compatibility boundary, with pixel pitch covering the full specification range of P0.7 to P2.6. Module size specifications can fully cover the mainstream sizes in the industry. It is compatible with multiple product forms such as standard boards and large boards, matches a variety of scene applications, and enriches the product specification matrix.
At the core process level, the production line has completed the upgrade of the die bonding process, using traditional die bonding technology and new die bonding technology to coordinate the establishment, effectively improving chip placement accuracy and production yield; the packaging process has also been upgraded from the original single solution to support multiple packaging technology routes, which can match different application tracks such as outdoor, rental, high-end commercial, etc., and meet the development requirements of high contrast, high brightness, and high weather resistance products.
With the advancement of process optimization, the protective performance of the product has also been improved, including waterproof, dustproof, UV resistance, and high and low temperature aging resistance. The overall product is more suitable for complex use environments such as outdoor strong light and temperature changes.
TCL Huaxing stated that it will continue to promote production line debugging and mass production preparations, and simultaneously strengthen MLED technology research and development and process optimization to improve the industrial layout. At the same time, it will rely on existing manufacturing capabilities and supply systems to improve product delivery and quality stability, gradually expand the scale of MLED business, and promote the further expansion and upgrade of related display application scenarios.
