Dr. Han Feilai said that many LED lights sold on the market use pulse power supply, which is relatively cheap and helps to adjust the brightness of the light and extend the service life of the lamp. However, it does not glow continuously, but flashes at an extremely high speed, which is invisible to our naked eyes and can only be detected by the brain and retina. This can cause headaches, reduced concentration, and vision loss.
Ben Ni Chi, a staff member of the Energy Bureau, told the media that the government should pay more attention to this issue and improve laws and regulations to make substandard products disappear from the market. At the same time, he also emphasized that the technology of LED energy-saving lamps will become better and better.
