Six cross-street pedestrian bridges are under construction and will be decorated with LED lighting

On the afternoon of November 19, reporters from JAC Morning News and JAC.com learned from the Hefei Municipal Key Bureau that the construction of the first batch (6) pedestrian bridges in Hefei City in 2015 was officially launched today. The six pedestrian bridges are located at Tongling Road, Xin Bengbu Road, North First Ring Road, Mengcheng North Road, Huangshan Road and Huaining Road. Except for the Huaining Road Overpass, other overpasses are expected to be completed around the Spring Festival next year. After completion, they will be decorated with LED lighting.

Relevant people from the Hefei Municipal Key Bureau said that Hefei is currently building a quality city. The newly constructed overpass will not only facilitate pedestrians crossing the street, but also have a beautiful function in the city. Taking the Huaining Road Overpass as an example, LED lights will be installed on the guardrails on both sides of the bridge. The blue LED lights will highlight the graceful shape of the railings. The bridge body will be equipped with white LED linear floodlights, and the bridge columns will be equipped with white cylindrical LED floodlights. The contrasting colors will beautify the city's night view. It is worth mentioning that the main patterns of LED lights on both sides of the bridge serve as symbols for correct answers to students' daily questions. ■6 pedestrian bridges decorated with LED lighting

① Location: Intersection of Tongling Road and Heping Road

A "line-shaped" pedestrian bridge layout, the bridge is 75.8 meters long, LED lighted unilateral ladders are arranged on both sides of the main bridge, and non-motorized vehicles are not considered to be on the bridge.

② Location: Intersection of Xin Bengbu Road and Bailong Road

"One-line" pedestrian bridge layout, the bridge is 50 meters long. Single-sided stairways are arranged on both sides of the main bridge to allow non-motorized vehicles to access the bridge.

③ Location: Between Mengcheng Road and Fuyang Road in the North First Ring Road

"One-line" pedestrian bridge layout, the length of the bridge is 54.8 meters.

④ Location: Intersection of Mengcheng North Road and Lianshui Road

The bridge is 66 meters long. In the future, electric vehicles and bicycles can be used on the bridge.

⑤ Location: between Hefei University and Golden Plaza on Huangshan Road

The overpass is 56.7 meters long. This is the first overpass built on Huangshan Road.

⑥ Location: In front of Ningxi School, Huaining Road

The overpass is 42.8 meters long. Once completed, students can cross the street safely and conveniently.
