Signify reaches cooperation with Shanghai Agricultural Investment Group and Linxia Baiyinong

From November 5th to 10th, the 6th China International Import Expo was held in Shanghai. During this CIIE, Signify signed strategic cooperation agreements with Shanghai Modern Agriculture Investment and Development Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Shanghai Agricultural Investment Group") and Linxia Baiyinong International Flower Port Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Biyinong").

Among them, Signify will provide advanced plant lighting solutions and services to Shanghai Agricultural Investment Group, especially the latest technologies in low-carbon energy saving and green environmental protection. In addition, the two parties will combine their resource advantages to jointly build world-class agricultural production facilities in Hengsha Xinzhou Modern Agricultural Industrial Park.

Data show that Shanghai Agricultural Investment Group was established in 2022. It is a municipal functional guarantee enterprise established with the approval of the Shanghai Municipal People's Government, funded and directly supervised by the Shanghai State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission. It has a registered capital of RMB 5 billion. Its main business includes: construction and development of Hengsha Xinzhou Modern Agricultural Industrial Park, modern agricultural industry investment, corporate services, etc.

In addition, Signify provided the Philips full LED light supplement system to Baiyinong International Flower Port to assist its annual production of roses in its 20-hectare smart greenhouse and solve its plant growth, flower production, green energy saving and other problems. The two parties have joined forces to jointly build a domestic first-class flower production base that is in line with international standards and improve the quality and economic benefits of flower production in the west.

According to data, Baiyi Modern Agriculture Company was established in 2015 and is located in the core area of Linxia National Agricultural Science and Technology Park in Gansu Province. It is a provincial-level agricultural industrialization enterprise integrating high-end flower production, smart greenhouse construction, smart agricultural technology promotion, flower seedling cultivation, and flower product research and development.

It is worth mentioning that during the exhibition, Signify also launched three new Philips high-efficiency energy-saving series products in the world, including Philips high-efficiency energy-saving LED panel lights, Philips high-efficiency energy-saving LED light panels and Philips high-efficiency energy-saving LED linear lights. This series uses high-efficiency energy-saving technology to provide a comfortable visual experience for office lighting and reduce power loss.
