On February 26, Samsung unveiled its latest flagship phone, the Galaxy S26 Ultra.
The Galaxy S26 Ultra is equipped with the fifth-generation Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition for Galaxy custom chip, which greatly improves NPU performance by about 39%, image processing performance by 24%, and CPU performance by about 19%. It is equipped with a 6.9-inch 3120 x 1440 QHD + second-generation dynamic AMOLED screen, which supports a refresh rate of 1 ~ 120Hz, a peak brightness of 2600 nits, and a screen color depth of 10 bits.
Most notably, for the first time, the Galaxy S26 Ultra has built-in privacy and privacy features, and unlike the principle of using a peep-proof mobile phone film, the peep-proof effect of the Galaxy S26 Ultra is achieved by precisely controlling the luminous direction and range of the screen pixels.
The Galaxy S26 Ultra's peep-proof mode offers a variety of personalization options, and users can also make individual peep-proof settings on demand for specific applications, notification pop-ups, and passwords, pin codes, or unlock patterns entered when accessing system settings, lockscreens, and secure folders.
In addition, the Galaxy S26 Ultra is 7.9 mm thick and weighs 214 grams, and has been upgraded to an enhanced armored aluminum bezel with four regular colors and two official website exclusive colors; supports up to 16GB of memory and 1TB of storage space.
In terms of image, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra features four rear cameras, including a 200MP main camera + 50MP ultra-wide-angle + 50MP/10MP telephoto, support for 3x and 5x optical zoom, and a front 12MP lens. In terms of AI features, the Galaxy S26 Ultra supports retouching, photo-to-sticker, instant briefings, Bixby smart assistants, and more.
