Wang Xingbing, a second-level researcher from the Guangzhou Municipal Bureau of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, introduced the development trends of lighting in Guangzhou. First of all, he said that urban lighting is not only to bring light to people, but also the image of a city. Urban landscape lighting is of great significance to major urban activities and affects economic and cultural development. Secondly, from a planning perspective, the construction of urban lighting must be integrated with the overall image of the city, integrated with the city's history and culture, and coordinated with urban environmental protection. Pay attention to the sustainable development of urban lighting, focus on efficiency and energy saving, intelligence and environmental protection. The third point is the energy-saving transformation of street lamps to promote the healthy development of green lighting. At the same time, he also introduced Guangzhou's achievements in lighting, and advocated that the city's night scene needs to create a more comfortable, environmentally friendly, and livable urban space for citizens.

Lu Ning, deputy director of the Nantong Urban Lighting Management Office, pointed out: Citizens are paying more and more attention to the planning and construction of urban lighting, which reflects the importance of industry lighting. Secondly, Director Lu pointed out that the urban night economy is booming, and economic development requires that the landscape lighting atmosphere at night is getting better and better. At the same time, Director Lu also introduced Nantong's urban lighting planning to everyone and demonstrated Nantong's technical highlights in urban lighting.
Lu Ning, Deputy Director of Nantong Urban Lighting Management Office
Wu Chunhai, deputy director and senior engineer of Shenzhen City Appearance and Landscape Affairs Center, proposed to do more innovative work and explore new lighting tracks based on the development status of his unit department. At the same time, Director Wu showed everyone the achievements and development status of Shenzhen in lighting. He said that Shenzhen always adheres to planning to lead the development of urban lighting, strives to explore technological innovation, and creates an orderly nighttime environment of light and darkness. On the basis of conventional road lighting and landscape lighting, we are actively innovating, including the Futian Central District Light Show, the Shenzhen Light and Shadow Art Season, Dapeng Starry Sky Park and Xichong International Dark Sky Community, and strive to provide good lighting levels in Shenzhen's entire area and local scenes, so that citizens have more choices at night. In addition, he also emphasized that green, low-carbon and dark night protection are not just a matter of urban lighting, but not only the stars and the sea, but also production and life. The entire industry needs to improve the level of lighting design, improve the quality of lighting products, truly achieve intelligent control, and achieve high-quality development of urban lighting.
Wu Chunhai, Deputy Director and Senior Engineer of Shenzhen City Appearance and Landscape Affairs Center
Mr. Mark, representative of the International Lighting City Association, introduced the development status of the International Lighting City Association and said that the International Lighting City Association has friendly cooperative relations with many domestic city management departments and lighting-related enterprises. He hopes that based on this method of lighting art, it can inspire people and have more motivation to pursue their dreams through lighting. Finally, Mr. Mark expressed his hope to have more cooperation opportunities with many domestic cities in the future.

Li Miao, deputy director of the Suzhou Municipal Management Center, mentioned that as a famous historical and cultural city, Suzhou has actively improved the construction and management of urban infrastructure in recent years. Regarding urban lighting work, Director Li discussed it from two aspects. The first is the current general environment of lighting work: local governments pay great attention to urban lighting work, and the general public's attention and sensitivity to urban lighting construction continue to increase. The second is the refinement of lighting work: starting from the embroidery spirit of urban management, optimizing the humanized configuration of lighting facilities, enhancing the artistic beauty of urban lighting, and gradually improving the intelligent management level of urban lighting, continuously improving citizens’ satisfaction with night travel.
Li Miao, Deputy Director of Suzhou Municipal Management Center
Zhan Yilu, deputy director of the Ningbo Municipal Lighting Facilities Management Office, introduced Ningbo lighting construction and lighting facility maintenance and management, highlighting the three major tasks of the Lighting Facilities Management Office: construction of lighting facilities, facility maintenance and timely management. He elaborated on how to make a seamless connection between construction and management, and highlighted the issue of how to integrate various lighting product control systems during the construction process. At the same time, Director Zhan also mentioned the construction of relevant measures to prevent leakage and the construction of a digital platform. With the continuous development and increase of urban lighting facilities, how to streamline, standardize and refine the maintenance of lighting facilities is the focus of current work, so the digital transformation of lighting cannot be delayed.
Zhan Yilu, deputy director of Ningbo Municipal Lighting Facilities Management Office
Xia Xuerong, deputy director of Yancheng City Street Light Management Office, clearly believes that the construction of urban lighting is closely related to people's lives. He proposed "three improvements": first, to improve people's sensory happiness index for functional lighting and landscape lighting; second, to improve special management of safety; third, to improve the emergency response capabilities of management departments and quickly improve the people's happiness.
Xia Xuerong, deputy director of Yancheng Street Light Management Office
Yu Haifeng, director of the North Maintenance Office of Nanjing Street Light Engineering Construction Co., Ltd., gave a brief introduction to the highlights and achievements of Nanjing lighting construction. He said that in response to the country's "double carbon" call, the Nanjing lighting management department has done the following work: First, LED transformation of functional lighting street lamps. The second is to invest in independent research and development of single lamp control and dimming systems to achieve "zero-point dimming" of LED lamps at night. In addition, Nanjing Lighting has also achieved certain results in the construction module of the digital smart platform for urban lighting operation and maintenance. The third is software development in cooperation with the School of Geographical Sciences of Nanjing Normal University. It took three years to complete the GIS geographic information collection and asset information storage of Nanjing functional lighting (boxes, lines, poles, wells). At the end of the sharing, Director Yu called on everyone to first take a clear inventory of urban lighting assets; secondly, safety supervision should be in place; and finally, product quality in the urban construction process should be strictly controlled. Construction quality has continuously improved the quality of urban lighting through multiple measures.
Yu Haifeng, Director of Chengbei Maintenance Office of Nanjing Street Light Engineering Construction Co., Ltd.
Qiu Yurong, chief engineer of Guangzhou Lighting Construction Management Center, shared the current development of the lighting industry from the following two aspects. Mr. Qiu believes that urban lighting is an important infrastructure and a necessity for urban development. How to steadily improve the construction, maintenance and management level of urban lighting projects under the new situation, on the one hand, is the safety issue of functional lighting. Safety is the most critical. It is necessary to correctly understand the functionality and landscape, safety and reliability, green energy saving and environmental protection issues of urban lighting projects. On the other hand, it is to strengthen information construction and improve management. Mr. Qiu called on each city to establish its own city-specific lighting management regulations and methods to make urban lighting planning more organized and implementation more binding. Finally, she said that changing the stereotype of landscape lighting requires the joint efforts of lighting people.
Qiu Yurong, Chief Engineer of Guangzhou Lighting Construction Management Center
At the end of the meeting, Li Xiaojuan, deputy secretary-general of Guangdong Guangya Lighting Research Institute, said that this urban lighting development symposium not only strengthened exchanges and cooperation between cities, but also put forward many constructive theories and practices for the sustainable development of urban lighting in China. As a socially responsible company, Guangya Group will continue to help cities break down business barriers and strengthen communication and exchanges between cities. It is hoped that through this discussion, we will have a deeper understanding of the views and requirements of relevant government departments on the development of urban lighting, actively respond to the national call, build a communication platform, and help the future development of urban lighting.
