Opple Lighting's capital increase and production expansion project for its South China headquarters base was officially signed in Zhongshan

On May 25, the signing ceremony for capital increase and production expansion of Opple Lighting’s South China headquarters base was held in Zhongshan.

According to reports, Op Lighting was founded in 1996. The company is mainly engaged in the research and development, production and sales of home lighting fixtures, commercial lighting fixtures, light sources and control products, and has gradually transformed into a lighting system comprehensive solution service provider.

In recent years, Opple Lighting has been actively promoting the development of the company's lighting business in the direction of intelligence and digitalization. Its intelligent lighting solutions have covered industry, office, home and other fields, and have been popularized and promoted in many overseas countries.

In 2022, Opple Lighting achieved operating income of 7.270 billion yuan, of which lighting application products and other products achieved operating income of 7.196 billion yuan; net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies was 784 million yuan.

In the first quarter of this year, Opple Lighting achieved operating income of 1.503 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 3.27%; net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies increased by 47.79% year-on-year.

Op Lighting stated that the company was a leading manufacturing company that grew up in Zhongshan, and later moved its headquarters elsewhere due to corporate development needs. The company responded to the call of the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government and settled its South China headquarters in Zhongshan. It has a R&D center, a settlement center, a production base, an export base, an e-commerce base, an intelligent mold center, etc., with a total investment of 3 billion yuan.

At present, the first phase of the project has entered the completion acceptance stage and will soon be accelerated for testing and production. Ma Xiuhui, general manager of Opple Lighting, said that the capital increase and production expansion project and the second phase project of the South China headquarters will be simultaneously launched to build an industry-leading production base and R&D design center to realize the transformation and upgrading of Opple Lighting products.
