Recently, Qichacha’s official website showed that Opple Wisdom (Shenzhen) Technology Co., Ltd. was established on December 1, 2022, with a registered capital of 14 million yuan. The legal representative is Chen Jinghua, and Opple Lighting holds 91% of the company’s shares.

The business scope of the new company includes: sales of lighting appliances; sales of household appliances; sales of network equipment; sales of smart home consumer equipment; sales of smart instruments; sales of digital video surveillance systems, etc.

Judging from the company name and business scope, the establishment of the new company may be another move by Opple Lighting to lay out its smart lighting business, and it is aimed at the whole-house smart lighting field.

It is reported that in recent years, Opple Lighting has been actively promoting the development of the company's lighting business in the direction of intelligence and digitalization. Its intelligent lighting solutions have covered industry, office, home and other fields, and have been popularized and promoted in many overseas countries.

In the field of whole-house smart lighting, in 2016, Opple teamed up with Huawei to jointly develop a full line of smart lighting products, create smart lighting solutions based on Hongmeng Smart Connect and Bluetooth Mesh protocols, and jointly build a whole-house smart interconnection ecosystem.
