Dongshan Precision’s net profit rose 124% in 2013

On April 25, Dongshan Precision disclosed its 2013 annual report. During the reporting period, the operating income was 2.642 billion yuan, an increase of 45.45% over the previous year; the net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company was 26.77 million yuan, an increase of 124.21% over the previous year; the basic earnings per share was 0.07 yuan. LED and module operating revenue was 1.375 billion yuan, an increase of 155.89% over the previous year.
During the reporting period, the main reasons for the substantial increase in operating income and operating costs were: the company increased its efforts in research and development and market development, the launch of LED-related technologies and products on the market was basically in line with the expected progress, LED backlight modules, LED lighting and other related businesses developed rapidly, and operating income and operating costs increased rapidly compared with 2012.
